Mixed emotions about the boat we rented. The boat was supposed to be brand new, but due to poor maintenance of the boat, every thing was falling apart (especially inside the yacht). Indeed, door handles falling down every time we open a door, screws of the fridge breaking apart, sink and fridge leaking, audio system didn't work, guard rail not closing properly, bimini severely attacked by rust... Now about Sun Charter, The check in was "okay", no really client service, very cold welcoming, and a check in were it seemed that I knew the boat better than the mister doing it. Monday morning, I sent a message to show some damages done before our charter to the base manager, no answer whatsoever. The arrival at the base was even worse. We seemed to be bothering them more than anything else, (Felipe that did our check out was the exception, due to his sympathy and excellent client service). It seemed that every other boat had an adapter given by the company to access shore electricity. Sun Charter didn't gave us one, so we weren't connected to electricity all night. We did unfortunately lost the dinghy during the week. When we arrived at the base on friday, we told the company about the situation and (very logically) agreed that they will take off a certain amount of the deposit, AND send us an invoice. But the reduced deposit arrived, while we are still waiting for the invoice (talk about client service). To top it off, they reserved a taxi for our way back saturday early morning (we clearly stated that we needed a taxi for 6).But when the taxi arrived at 0400, we found that they reserved one for 4 peoples. This results in us trying to find another way to go to the airport at 4h00 in the morning.
