Bavaria Cruiser 45 | Paso Doble 1

Neutral did not work!!! So our mooring rope got tangled and it was impossible to charge the battery on the buoy/anchor. Furthermore, 2 doors were broken, 2 windows leaked, one toilet pump only worked with the valve open. The anchor only had marks on 20 and 40 meters. There were 2 rudders, but one of them was unusable, because you couldn't see the GPS or other instruments from it. The GPS looked and was not very detailed (it did not show the depth for advice), the anchor alarm could only be set to 10m. One of the three gas burners did not work. The sale of the yacht is also sad, it was sold only after 19:30 (without such a late time being notified in advance), without a manual (in the end, however, it was found) and without an explanation of the five lights on the electrical panels.

Some small problems with the autopilot but overall a good experience. Maybe the headsail could have been a bit larger ;)

In 20 years of offshore sailing I have never seen anywhere near such flaws on a ship. When the yacht was returned, the guests from the other yachts were loudly complaining about the condition of their yachts. I don't understand how Paso Doble can be rated over 8 with you?? A few shortcomings in the overview: - Yacht stinks of faeces, was already criticized by the previous tenant as I have now found out in his evaluation - Depth gauge does not work and this is not pointed out like all other shortcomings. The previous tenant also stated that the depth gauge did not work for him. - Autopilot switched off after 10 seconds - Front toilet has a leak in the transition between pump and hose and faeces come out there, that's why the ship stinks. I told the gentlemen at the handover, let's see if they will tighten the hose clamp. - Two doors in the ship do not close, so that you slam loudly against the interior walls with every wave - Windows are leaking and some of the locks have broken off - Chartplotter without depth information (Garmin age-old model), which is dangerous in combination with the failed sensor of the depth gauge. - The impression that the ship leaves is generally very very worn and without any care - Seen for the first time, a charter ship in the Mediterranean region without fans - which is very unpleasant at 35 degrees. - Not a single USB port on the whole ship - ridiculous in 2023 - Radio without Bluetooth and completely outdated - No cockpit light to sit outside in the evening - Last night the water pump suddenly switched on continuously, without any operation of a faucet. Only goes out with power away from the pump. - Anker triggered the fuse on the last day, but I was shown the wrong fuse when it was handed over and only because I asked x times. So no anchor on the last day. The people on the base are generally friendly, but don't seem to understand the subject. The ships are frighteningly unfamiliar to you and they can impart very little knowledge. The handover is blatantly neglected and criticism of the ship is simply endured. We left Trogir in the safe assumption that criticism here will not lead to work on the ship now, which confirms the report from the fore skipper. Dismaying that you are working with this company, we await a proposal for a partial charter refund as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, our gearbox went out and the boat had to sail only for a few hours. The children were quite frightened. Night was approaching and we were far from help between Hvaren and Brač.
