The charter company Croatia Yachting in particular does not give you the feeling that you are welcome. You are just a number. The check-in was very bad. It took ages, all the customers were annoyed. Two hours in the completely overcrowded small office, even though nothing unexpected happened. The staff only greet you when they absolutely have to. Once you have returned the boat, no one knows you anymore. The handover only covers the bare essentials. Nothing is explained in detail. The same applies when taking the yacht back. No wonder that nautical charts for the sea area are missing, the oars do not fit the dinghy, etc. Then you point this out and you get THREE individual parts of the oars, even though there are always four individual parts. Unfortunately, this is unprofessional and we were unable to sail out on the first day because we had lost too much time during the handover. Sails are not checked either. It's like Ryan Air. Everything costs extra. The seat mats in the cockpit were taken off the boat right under our noses when we pointed this out. Did you pay extra? No? Then I'll take them back. The mats are ten years old and there are only two of them. They wanted 60 euros for them for our two-week charter! Then the shock when checking out: the diver had discovered underwater damage. Only when we asked them to compare the photos with those of the previous renter did it become clear that the damage had already been there. This could have been clarified beforehand, instead of first unsettling the customer. Conclusion: If it absolutely has to be, you can rent from the charter company, but I would prefer to use another one if possible. None of the charterers felt really comfortable with this company, especially since most of them had problems. Of course, little things can always occur. But here they happened quite frequently and there was also the feeling that charterers were really just adding work to the charter company.

The chek-in procedure: the app in not working properly yet and my personal feeling is that is not a service for the customer but a way for you to delegate the job to ther customer. The charter company gave us a defective SUP after receiving payment.

we were not informed that early check in was not possible and thus came hours too early to the harbor. They could have sent us an sms with the approximate check in time.
