Dear Boataround Team, I have been a loyal customer for several years and have always had positive experiences chartering with you. However, I feel compelled to raise some concerns about my recent experience with Navigare Yachting in Greece, which fell short of the usual standards. Lack of Communication: Upon our arrival, we were unaware that there was no office, and it took us over an hour to locate our point of contact. This lack of communication was very frustrating. Unwelcoming Reception: The staff we encountered were not welcoming and simply informed us that there was no office, leaving us uncertain about where to go or what to do next. Early Check-In Issues: We paid €400 for an early check-in at 13:00, yet the check-in was not completed until 17:00. We are currently trying to resolve this issue directly with Navigare to recover the fee. If we are unsuccessful, we will reach out to you for further assistance. Fuel Pricing: We were required to refuel at their designated harbor, where diesel was priced at €1.90 per liter, significantly higher than the current market price of €1.50 per liter in Greece—a 27% markup. Overall, the service from Navigare Yachting was far below the standard I have come to expect from your partner companies. At times, the organization in Athens even seemed misleading, if not fraudulent.
