Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52 | Hesiodos

My friends and I had decided to spend our vacation sailing around the Greek islands. To rent a yacht we used the website - boataraund.com and rented a yacht Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52/ Hesiodos. Upon arrival at Alimos Marina pier No. 8/836, we were met by Alexandris, the representative of the lessor. Made out checks for the captain's salary, the dinghy motor rental and the cleaning of the boat after the sailing. After receiving the money in cash, he left, promising to return in an hour to put the yacht at our disposal and we could accept it, recording its actual technical condition. Unfortunately, this gentleman did not come either that evening or the next morning. Realizing that he would not be there, we went on our journey with a very nice, responsive and professional captain Vasili with 30 years of sailing experience. The trip was wonderful, apart from the fact that the yacht was in a very run down condition with very unprofessional maintenance. It also lacked towels of the appropriate size, was not sufficiently equipped with eating utensils, the kettle and coffee pots were defective, the toilets were in a very bad condition with broken pot lids, poorly functioning water taps. Unfortunately, when Alexandris, the representative of the lessor, came to us a week later, the acceptance of the yacht was started (despite the fact that it was not handed over to us), and we were presented as the culprits with defects that we allegedly caused and a claim for €95 was made, despite to our objections. We have reason to believe that these same defects have been and will be presented to all who have rented and will rent this boat. Therefore, we would like our review to be posted on your website so that other renters of this boat do not fall into the trap of this dishonest lessor representative.
