The boat I originally booked was not what we received. The upgrade wasn’t an upgrade except for the year it was made. We had a guest have to sleep on the kitchen couch because the tables did not fold down and many of the hatches leaked when it rained. The dinghy did not work properly and when it was replaced the second one didn’t work either so we were stuck onboard unless we rowed ourselves in. Pretty disappointed with the lack of communication-we were under the impression that we could leave the dock once we arrived and did our walk through but were told (once we arrived and started loading provisions) that we were required to stay on the dock our first night. We paid for 7 days of sailing and the 8th was supposed to be on the dock but it was only 6 nights out of the marina. Our group collectively felt misled based on what was promised compared to what we received. Other than that, the BVIs themselves were a wonderful experience.
