My experience is divided into 2 distinct parts. 1. regarding the catamaran MOJITO, Lagoon 42, year 2020, the impressions are excellent, equipped with generator, watermaker, inverter, AC, Webasto, 2 refrigerators, modern electric toilets. Very clean, no bad smells, nice smelling linen. 2. regarding the charter team of the BlueEternal company, my experience was partially disappointing because it left me with the impression that they wanted to deceive me. I say this because although the cleaning of the boat was finished by 2 p.m., mrs. Amalia extended check-in after 5:30 p.m., in off-season conditions, probably to try to hide a defect in a masthead wind indicator which is a crucial cue for many aspects of sailing. Since I have enough experience in renting sailboats, I knew what to check at check-in and I noticed that no on-board device indicated the direction and speed of the wind, which at that moment was probably over 20 knots in a gust. At the presentation of the boat, mr. Michael Michail, base manager, did not make any reference to the electronic navigation instruments, but I asked him directly why the dedicated equipment does not indicate the wind. His answer was that after a storm some time ago, the equipment at the top of the mast was damaged. From this moment, 2 hours of negotiations followed on how to fix the problem. The most disturbing aspect was that, although he knew about the defect, from 1 p.m. when I arrived at the BlueEternal office and started the formalities to take over the boat, neither Amalia Koutra, accounting base nor mr. Michael Michail did not say a word about this defect, trying to extend the delivery deadline in the hope that I will not check the instruments and take over the boat. It didn't even occur to them to try to check and replace any defective components. Mr. Michael Michail proposed to trade me a Lagoon 40 that had not yet been disinfected and cleaned, a proposal I did not agree with. Since we did not manage to find a reasonable option for handing over a boat with all functional equipment, the time being already 8pm, we settled for a compensation of 350 euros, collected on the spot and we left with the boat without any instruments indicating the the direction and force of the wind. In the end, everything went well, we managed to manage several days of wind between 20-30 knots
