I haven't had such a bad experience with a charter in a long time. Firstly, the information about the boat's return that we received from Boataround was inconsistent with the information provided by the charter company, which we were informed of only upon taking the boat. The platform indicated that we were to return the boat on Saturday between 8-9 AM, while the charter insisted on a return by Friday at 5 PM, allegedly due to divers who ultimately never came to inspect the boat. The boat handover was delayed, and we didn’t receive the boat until 7 PM. The navigation lights were not functioning, likely due to severe corrosion on the control panel, which caused the contacts to malfunction. When we complained, the charter’s response was: "Why were you sailing at night anyway?" We sailed at night because the handover was delayed, and we were caught in the dark. The masthead light also wasn’t working, making anchoring unsafe. On the first night, when we attempted to lower the anchor, the windlass didn’t work. It turned out the issue was due to faulty brushes on the electric motor, which we had to replace the next day, resulting in us losing half a day waiting in the marina. The charter staff were very unhelpful and refused to take responsibility for the incorrect information and the poor condition of the boat. Instead, we were told: "Well, that's the adventure for you," which is, to say the least, highly unprofessional. The dinghy's engine constantly leaked fuel into the sea, and starting it was extremely difficult, often requiring more than 20 attempts, likely because the spark plug hadn't been changed in 30 years—the same age as the engine. My advice is to avoid this Kufner charter altogether. The boat is in poor condition and likely shouldn't even be permitted to sail.

Despite its age, the yacht is in very good condition, the service is nice and competent, the price for cleaning is exorbitant and must be paid when booking.
Sanitary facilities in the marina and distance from garbage bins.

The ship was relatively well preserved due to its age and no major technical problems occurred during our voyage. Some dissatisfaction can be expressed about the condition of the protective roof in the cockpit (sun awning). The canvas no longer had any impregnation and did not protect at all during the rain. It is also possible to have reservations about the greater play of the rudder, which reacted late to the rotation. Personally, I was more annoyed that the ship did not have wind speed and direction indicators on board and we had to use our own hand-held anemometer. A larger table in the cockpit would also be gathered, the existing one is for 4 people. I also drew the attention of the staff of f. Nautika Kufner. This charter company has about 10 boats in the Split marina and an estimated 10 people who take care of their operation. In our case, they promised that the ship would be ready for us to be handed over in the morning. Unfortunately, although I was already there around 10 am, despite the promises of the staff, I was not able to take over until around 5 pm. No pleasant surprises awaited us on board (we didn't even count on him), so the company could forgive a false promise. On the contrary, the return of the ship went smoothly and relatively quickly. I would like to make a critical remark about the evaluation of the ACI Marina Split. There are a lot of boats and little space. the piers are too close to each other and even in stillness it is more difficult to maneuver there. The nearby petrol station is poorly protected against strong waves. Cars can also be parked directly in the marina, but during the day it is very difficult to find a free space. First you have to pay 53 Euros for a week of parking and only then look for a free parking space! Despite such critical findings, I can say that the trip in the waters of southern Dalmatia was a success for us.
