The condition of the boat in order from the stern: 1. The ramp hydraulic pump is dying. When closing it howls and creaks in every possible way. Be careful, shoot a video of the opening/closing. 2. The cable securing the ramp on the starboard side is partially torn and the ends stick out in different directions. I scratched my hands twice in a week and I'm not the only one; 3. The cockpit table... Shame. In the trash. Assembled. I won't even comment. I would attach a photo but I don't know how. 4. The ancient Raymarine, which has no depth chart (!) with a joystick sealed with tape (!) is installed right on the table... An original solution but not very convenient. 5. AIS? No, we haven't heard of it. You won't see any ships around you. And they won't see you either. The boat was rented from 26.10, and the AIS was last in touch on 10.10 6. The central locker in the cockpit deck does not close, the lid is bent, you walk and stumble; 7. Of the 8 doors, three (!) in the bow close and lock normally. It is impossible to close or lock the stern door. All the locks and latches are broken. You need to prop it up with a mop, slip towels, bags, etc. under it. And still, while underway, they regularly open and smash with a crash against the walls of the boat. 8. There are 2 lighters on board. Both do not work. What if there are no smokers and you did not check them right away? Do you check the lighters upon acceptance? - Check. 9. Try lighting the stove on this boat. When we returned the boat, we offered the owner to do this. We laughed heartily as this respectable lady tried to do it with pathos, removing the grate, burners... The flexible hose to the gas cylinder was cut many times (greed) and eventually became so short that the cylinder, being in its regular place, breaks it and does not allow the gas to flow. We had to take it out on the deck and put it back each time. Convenient? Well, I don’t know. 10. The hinge on the refrigerator lid is torn off. The handle is torn off on another one. 11. The bow shower pump was not checked upon acceptance and it turned out to be non-working. We were told where to find the relay. And thanks for that, they changed it. It worked. 12. The clamp on the sink drain had to be tightened - it was leaking and right on this very relay, which was just dangling on the wires under the sink. 13. There is no portable radio on the boat, it turns out you have to ask to get it.. Hmm.. The overall feeling about the boat is sad. It is tired. It wants to be repaired and to a normal owner. It is especially surprising that all of the above, in general, does not require any special investment or skills. It costs pennies and can be fixed by normal male hands within a couple of days at most. To all our comments, the lady answered that she knows "it", that it is her problem and if we do not like it, we could not accept the boat. Now about greed. The dinghy was broken. Yes, our jamb. We caught it on sharp rocks during the night mooring. There is no repair kit on the boat. We suffered for 5 days on a deflated floor, in the end, instead of an apology and a refund of at least part of the cost of renting the dinghy, and a similar precedent was in the same Marina but another charter, we received a fine. Modestly, 250 euros (!). This is for a cut, 1 cm long, in an old, lousy Chinese inflatable boat, the price of a new one is 469 euros, according to the screenshot that the charter company itself sent. It would have been better if it hadn't sent it. What is this? - This is greed + stupidity multiplied by short-sightedness. After a long unpleasant argument, she lowered the price to 200. About dishonesty/cheating/fraud. Choose for yourself. The scheme is simple: There should be a plastic protective cap on the shore power outlet on the boat. It is not there. It hasn't been there for many years, judging by the oxidized attachment points and, most importantly (!), in the photo of the boat here, in the boat round, it is clearly visible that this cap is missing. When were these photos taken? How many years ago? 5, 10? So, the young lady has not come to terms with the loss of this cap. Knowing full well that it has not been there for many years, she tried to present us with a claim for its loss and wanted 78 euros for it! But it didn’t work out, because upon acceptance we took a video of the boat. (And later we found a photo on this site). She backed up, like she didn’t know. - She knew. 100% And I can’t call this anything other than fraud. There are screenshots of the correspondence. If anyone doubts it, I can send them. I think that this cap brings her an additional 78 euros weekly. Well, what can I say? There is a reason to contact the Turkish police, it’s a pity there is no time and I don’t want to get involved. Let it remain on her conscience, and my review, I hope, will help reduce the income of this micro-office. That’s how it is, friends. And finally, what surprised me. Upon delivery, they very carefully, well, just checked the oil level in the engine. And they didn’t check the sails and the underwater part at all. On the one hand, this seems not bad, but on the other, be prepared for surprises from previous tenants. Conclusions: The overall feeling from the owners is not pleasant and this is not only the opinion of our team. The feeling from the boat is that I feel sorry for it, it is tired and needs repairs. Avoid this "company" with 2.5 old, unkempt boats and 1 even older catamaran. In Fethiye, and not only, there are a lot of normal, honestly working companies that do not cheat with "caps".
